BSD Middle School Summer Band Camp 2021
BSD Middle School Summer Band Camp is an opportunity for students to play fun music, make new friends, and become better musicians! Each day students will get a one-hour group lesson from a professional musician on their instrument and two hours of full band rehearsal. We are excited to offer this opportunity FREE of charge to students in the Beaverton School District.

Dates: July 19th - July 29th (7/19, 7/20, 7/21, 7/22, 7/26, 7/27, 7/28, 7/29)
Days/Times: Monday - Thursday 9am-12pm
*There will be a performance on last day of camp 7/29 at 11:00am

Location: Mountainside High School 12500 SW 175th Avenue Beaverton, OR 97007

Students must have at least one year of experience on their band instrument.
(Students entering 9th grade in 2021-22 can participate)

Students’ safety is our number one priority. We will adhere to the most up to date social distancing and cleaning guidelines outlined in the Oregon Department of Education’s Ready Schools Safe Learners Performing Arts Guidance. This includes: 6X6 ft distance between students, bell covers and wind instrument masks provided, cleaning routine of high touch surfaces, no sharing of instruments or equipment, increased ventilation and breaks for air exchange. Studies have shown that these precautions greatly reduce aerosol spread and allow for safe band rehearsals.
