The Associated Press Media Editors Foundation is offering diversity scholarships to attend the Albuquerque NewsTrain digital-skills workshop on Oct. 25-26, 2019. Journalists, journalism students and journalism educators from diverse backgrounds are invited to apply. Successful applicants for these competitive awards will have their $75 registration fee waived; they must pay their own travel expenses. Please apply BY OCT. 9, 2019. To apply, complete and submit this online application AND email a resume and up to three work samples and/or journalism-class assignments to Mike Marcotte, University of New Mexico professor, at mmarcotte@unm.edu.
