After almost half a year of war in Ukraine, JCCs in that region continue to provide crucial programs and humanitarian aid to their communities and to the many refugees who left their homes. Through JCC Global, Commonpoint Queens will be participating in the JCC Global High Holidays Moral Support Campaign. This campaign helps connect JCCs and organizations like Commonpoint Queens with JCCs in Eastern Europe to send online messages of support for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Commonpoint Queens has been partnered with the Cherkasy Regional Charitable Jewish Foundation, Hesed Dorot, located in Cherkasy, Ukraine.

We welcome all teens for an event to learn about these holidays and put together messages, letters, and pictures to send! Hesed Dorot will reciprocate with messages back to us!

The event will be on Thursday, October 6th from 7PM-8:30PM at the Sam Field Center.
