The Ionia Montcalm Secure and Friendly Environment Child Advocacy Center (IM SAFE CAC) is excited to build a team of youth who will represent all areas of Ionia and Montcalm Counties during the 2024-2025 school year. The team of interested youth will provide insight regarding the impacts of sexual abuse on the lives of youth in Ionia and Montcalm Counties and how the IM SAFE CAC can better serve our community. After we receive your application, a selection committee member will follow up with you to schedule an informal interview.
The Youth Advocacy Council (YAC) is composed of teens throughout Ionia and Montcalm Counties who are passionate about the work we do at the IM SAFE CAC. Every year, the YAC plans and implements a chosen service project. This is an opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills while positively impacting our community and the lives of children affected by sexual abuse.
