This month’s VentureClass will be hosted by expert and entrepreneur Peter Byebierggaard and will look a little different than usual. This month you can join us in a workshop on creating a circular business model.

Circular Economy
The goal of this evening’s workshop is to help you understand how you can design your circular business model from the very beginning. The evening will start with a short explanation by Peter about all the important tools and concepts after which you’ll be given the opportunity to collaboratively apply these in small groups. Overall Peter will provide you with an overall framework and access to more resources to explore the opportunities for a circular business model further. 

During the workshop you can reflect on your own product(s), service(s) and business model for which you would like to explore a circular model during the masterclass. Are you just starting out, or simply interested in the circular economy, don’t worry you will be provided with samples if needed.

Peter has started several companies and developed several business areas. His main focus today is global innovation management i.e. developing and leading global innovative organizations. Projects that Peter has been involved include co-developing the accelerator program ‘e7 Daughters of the Emirates’ – where social entrepreneurs use a human-centred design approach to develop sustainable solutions, implementation of service design as an organisational customer experience approach in a large global mobility corporation, co-developing the foundation for ‘Sustainability in Global Mobility’ with P&G, Unilever and Bayer, and facilitated the development and implementation of a five-year waste management strategy of Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, UAE.
