Please also use this form if you wish to reuse a Chromebook that was previously purchased from the school for another student.  

Please be aware that in order for students to use their personal devices in school, we will need to add our Google Chrome licence to the device. We will ask students to bring their device to IT Support to add the license during the first week of September. This will be removed when the student leaves Kingsdown School.
 
To add the school license we will need to return the device to factory settings, removing any existing accounts. Once we've put our licence onto the device, the student (or any other family member) can add and use a 'personal' Google account outside of school hours. Signed in 'personal' accounts will not have the filtering or safeguarding software enabled.

Any Chromebook device that doesn't have our licence on it, will not have the school filtering or safeguarding software installed, or have access to the full range of Google for Education services and will not be able to be used in school.
