Toronto Centre is offering a virtual one-week-long cross-sectoral program that aims to examine how supervision should adapt to financial and other risks emanating from climate change and biodiversity loss. The program represents an exceptional opportunity for financial supervisors and regulators to learn from Toronto Centre Program Leaders, as well as to network and learn from their international peers. Participants will engage in a comprehensive study of the micro-prudential and macro-prudential responses to climate and biodiversity risks, including scenario analysis and stress tests.
It is important to note that this
virtual program is one of the core modules for participants pursuing our Certified Financial Supervisor (CFS) certification, and is also available to participants who are not pursuing the CFS certification. An examination will be administered during the program for all participants.
Please note that registration does not mean acceptance to the program. If you are accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter from Toronto Centre.
