Our Climate and Racial Justice Groups are thrilled to invite the community to a screening of the one-hour film Can I Live? (
http://www.complicite.org/productions/CanILive), a powerful and compelling multimedia performance about the climate emergency & the global struggle for social justice, and one Black British man's journey to find his place in the climate movement.
We will watch the film together, followed by a conversation with its creator - actor and activist Fehinti Balogun - and our very own service leader Michael Lomotey, who consulted on the science for the film. We look forward to having a conversation together about these vital and complex issues.
7-9pm at Newington Green Meeting House: 39A Newington Green, London N16 9PR (the building where we had our High Holiday services last year). Please note: the venue windows do not open, so please do bring/wear a mask if you have concerns about the ventilation with regards to COVID-19 transmission.
If you need any help less than 24 hours before this event, please do call (rather than email or text) 0203 951 8113 option 2 to speak to Ashleigh or leave a voicemail. If you have questions or concerns that are less time sensitive you can instead email
