Íslenska: https://forms.gle/YJVDoWv1tqsYbE8q9

Nordic Music Days in collaboration with Tónlistarborgin Reykjavík and MíT are happy to host Julia Kaiser and her program Young Reporters at the NMD 2022. In the workshop Julia will form a team of reporters who together will create a vivid and colorful discourse around the festival.

Language: The workshop takes place in English.

Participants (8-12 participants): The Young Reporters workshop is for young people from 16 and up, who are talented observers and good at asking questions. A background in music is not obligatory, only a curious mind!

Publication: the texts are reviewed in a one-on-one conversation with best  possible results. Afterwards, they are published on www.jungereporter.eu and on the festival website.

Schedule: Kick off workshop Friday, Oct. 6th, 3pm – 6pm. The participants get to know each other as a reporter team and plan the coming week.

Ongoing workshops Oct. 7th-15th
The exact schedule will be varied for each participant. Participants are expected to take part in Team meetings, concerts and individual interview/reportage appointments. Mostly meetings will take place in the afternoon/evening around the concerts (before and after) but also some extra appointments might take place during the day.

Nordic Music Days provide workspace and free tickets to all events for all participants. For High School participants, we provide a letter requesting leave from school activities during the workshop days if needed.
