Participation Registration
Hi there. Here you have the opportunity to register for the What, Why, How Think Tank and ask your question(s). I look forward to meeting you.
What to expect: during the workshop time we as a group will support each other and take time to ask questions and share resources surrounding topics like cost and consequences of international shipping, standing up for our rights to fair pay, collective consciousness towards the ethics of business to provide globalized inclusivity in the glass community and how we can leverage our power as content creators. Central to these sub-questions is the question-What power do we hold as artists? Both the power we have to influence institutional standards, pay and contracting and what power/responsibility do we have to create spaces and initiatives that shape the glass community to be what we want to see.

The workshop is community led, every participant is likewise an adviser as we will share our personal experiences and solutions. Too often do artists discover the basics of running an art practice by chance, or through hard learned lessons, sharing what we have learned over the years helps all of us be better businessowner’s, climate conscious, set standards for our labor and consider how our choices affect minorities, parents and emerging artists in the field. Depending on the number of participants we will be, we might create breakout groups that deepen into a topic, to join later to presents the results of individual discussions. I (Anna Mlasowsky) will act as a facilitator, timekeeper and start the conversation.  If possible please bring your laptop if you think you have resources that you could share and we will then, during the session create a folder to which we upload everyone's documents. This is not required.
