Transition to Work with KSSB:  A Live Webinar
The Kansas State School for the Blind offers a unique one-year specialized Transition Program for students with vision loss. A component of this program provides an opportunity for participants to participate in employment experiences and practice skills of independent living.  

The goal of this interactive webinar is to have a discussion about workplace readiness. This includes exploring possible future employment options,  skills needed for employment,  and gain job experience.   In addition, a discussion of what the KSSB Transition program looks like for students who want to gain job experiences and improve independent living skills. Participants will learn more about the expectations, requirements, and the types of supports provided while attending the transition program.

This live webinar is also an opportunity to ask work and indpendent living related questions regardless of the participant's interest in the KSSB campus-based Transition program.
