Class Payments and Fees: Payments are due prior to the start of class.
Pick Up/Drop Off: A parent or guardian must accompany all small children when waiting for class, this includes dancer’s siblings. Once class has started students cannot leave the premises at any time without being accompanied by the parent or guardian unless the teacher is notified. If the parent is going to be late picking up their child, please notify the studio. Be sure your child knows to never leave the studio, they must always stay inside and wait.
Visitors & Viewing: Due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions, parents and visitors are not allowed to view classes.
Cell Phones: Phones must be kept on silent and stored in your dance bag throughout the entire length of the class. Texting during class or during a water break is disrespectful to the teacher and other dancers. If cell phones become an issue during class time, the teacher may collect the cell phone for the duration of the class and return it to the student at the end.
Studio Cancellations: If the studio needs to close due to weather conditions or other special circumstances, we will post it on our website at
http://www.kadeestumbleweed.com, on our Facebook Page, and send out an email. Please call the studio with any questions. We do not offer a class credit if we need to close due to conditions beyond our control, it is the instructor’s discretion on when/if a make-up class will be offered.
Participation & Attendance: Kadee’s Tumbleweed and the staff are not liable for personal injuries or loss or damage to personal property. Since this is a physical activity, injuries may occur. Any student may decline to participate in any activity, which may be harmful. They are responsible to inform the instructor of any physical limitation, which may prevent full participation in class. If an injury does occur (inside or outside of the classroom) which limits/suspends participation, a written note must be provided by the parent/guardian and/or a doctor (if requested by the instructor) in order to continue full participation. Please contact the studio in the event of an absence/late arrival.
Arriving late to class can be disruptive and distracting for the classroom. If you arrive later than 15 minutes past the start time of class, it is up to your teachers' discretion as to whether or not you will be allowed to join the class on the floor or be required to observe.
