This is where you submit an official government application to own one of the listings that the government has posted in the official discord app!

Requirements and things to know:

1. These are very basic. Very Basic businesses - it will be up to you to Roleplay most scenarios
2. Most of the 'non-official' businesses function much like the Convenience Shops in the game.
3. You must have 150,000 deposit to be able to put down on the business (this excludes Managers).
4. YOU are expected to keep your business stocked. It MUST have food/water for customers to purchase
5. You can hire employees - but it will be up to you to roleplay paying them
6. IF you are convicted of Major Offenses against the Law you can be Subject to losing your business. (RP accordingly)
7. Please do not just use them for clubhouses - these are player environments placed in the world to stimulate RP
8. This does not mean you are allowed to  break server rules
9. We will not be adding any improvements to the business unless it is to resolve something that breaks the experience - for the time being, you are purchasing "as is" until further notice.
10. If you are applying for an 'Official Business', know that they are required to host 2 server-wide events a month. No exceptions. Failure to do so can result in the loss of that business.

NOTE: If you are applying for a business that has just recently been ANNOUNCED as available- applications will be reviewed 2 weeks after that announcement

Know the Business you are applying for- If the shop you are applying for has a manager or shop preface make sure you know what that means.

Shop Owner: Ability to access shop stock/profits / and prices. This is just a location with no systems but an interior you can own and RP in. (If a business becomes an RP hub consistently, businesses can be rewarded with Official recognition. This is staff discretion.

Note: If your business starts becoming a Roleplay hub (an area in which players congregate to socialize and spend time roleplaying) - we can discuss building upon this and potentially turning it into an 'Official Business' and adding Boss actions. This is not something that will be done lightly. You MUST be an active roleplay hub before we will consider this. This is staff digression. You cannot be apart of an Official Biz/ Organization.

It is a [100] word minimum - you MUST at least type 100 words for questions that apply.


Official Legends businesses require applications for Ownership. When you enter this role, you are given the position/property at an EXTREMELY reduced price or at no price at all (again, depending on the business) as it's expected that you will use this role/property to generate content for the world and the players around you.  When that characters RP comes to a close, the business will enter the application process again as the business was never available for sale to the general public and requires an application for ownership/managerial roles in the first place.  You may not sell the business to the automated system (this only exists because it shares the same store ownership system as public shops) in order to profit from leaving or abandoning the application position.  If you intend on applying for an application business now or anytime in the future, please do so understanding that you are expected to communicate with staff if/when your intentions change in-order to gracefully exit the application role and turn over the business.

Events include but are not limited to parties and the examples found below. Use creative unique ideas that will generate new roleplay. Not just the same thing on repeat.

Examples:
-Creative roleplay workshops (host cooking lessons, self-defense classes, mixology lessons)  
-Fun Roleplay contests or challenges (example: surf contest, bicycle marathon, legal track races)
-Car shows or Motorcycle ride outs
-Car derbies (to get something like this started open a ticket in the discord)
-Paintball (to get something like this started open a ticket in the discord)
-Movie showing at beach or Theater (to get something like this started open a ticket in the discord)
-Treasure Hunts, Karaoke, Trivia Night, etc.
