Open PTA Volunteer Positions (Program Chairs & Administrative)

It is that time of year again! The PTA needs volunteers in order to run successful events and programs and without YOUR Support, many of the wonderfully fun & educational activities/events may need to cease next year so WE NEED YOU!

Below is a description of the open positions we have available. If interested, in any positions mentioned click the button below by March 15th to sign up.

If available on March 17th at 8:45 am (meet @ entrance), come on out to Providence for some iced coffee, tea & pastries and meet with the PTA President & other PTA members who will answer all questions you may have about these and other open volunteer positions.

VP of Volunteers & Co-VP of Volunteers

VP of Staff Appreciation & Co-VP of Staff Appreciation (August Welcome back staff breakfast, Monthly or bi-monthly treats for staff & facilitating 1 week of Thank You goodies in May)

VP of Spirit Wear/Redemption Program Chair - (work with current vendor who sells all the clothing & ships directly to families) / (Look for new relationships – we currently do Box Tops & work with Seasonal Roots (new May 2022)

Family Night Out Chair - (Plan monthly Family Nights Out – find new/existing restaurants to partner with, obtains or create flyers)

Kindergarten Orientation Chair - (Plan date and activities with Barbara King in July, create an announcement, run school requested activities and discuss the PTA at the 2 late afternoon playground meet & greets and 1 kindergarten morning orientation held in August.

School Supplies Chair - (work with Campus Survival Kits to get kits ordered & delivered directly to the classrooms)

Fun Fair / Fall Festival Chair

Bingo Night Chair - (In person or virtual - reserve date/location, get bingo cards, create & send out the flyer, prizes, food vendor, and call all the games)

Grade Level Rep (*new this year! - work with the PTA and help communicate to the parents in your grade)

Co-Committee Members (work with Board Members to plan programs or projects)

Translators - Spanish/Arabic/Korean/Chinese (assist with translation of information going out on flyer to the families)

Volunteer Shifts at Onsite Events (Kindergarten/1st Grade Orientation, Fall Fair, Movie Night, Book Fair, Spooktacular, Bingo Night, Panther Dance, Staff/Teacher Appreciation)

Administrative Tasks - Help with a Tasks at Home (stuffing packets or gifts, sorting notes/flyers, event prep)
