Usability testing & research: Call for Projects Spring 2024
Does your organization have a website, digital product, or document and you are wondering how well it works for your users?

As part of a University of Washington Tacoma class on usability testing & research, we are looking for projects from partners in our community.  To learn more about usability testing:  https://www.usability.gov/how-to-and-tools/methods/usability-testing.html

Students will work in teams over the course of a 10-week quarter to:
- Understand your audience
- Design a usability study plan and test kit
- Recruit and screen representative users
- Conduct a usability study
- Write a report and present the results

Good projects for this class are ones that:
- You plan to redesign in the near future
- Have never been evaluated with your users
- Are fully functional and stable
- Are not subject to non-disclosure agreements

Projects will be selected based on these criteria. We prioritize projects that are non-profit, government, and/or have a connection to Tacoma or the South Puget Sound, but all will be considered.

If chosen, your will need to designate a contact from your organization who can visit our class twice  (Mid April and Late May) and be available to answer student questions via email.

If this sounds like a good opportunity, please complete the form below by March 27, 2024. If you have questions, email Emma Rose at ejrose@uw.edu.
