Thank you for your interest in becoming an aide for Udaleku 2020.  Camp will be held in Salt Lake City, UT from June 21st through July 3rd.  We are anticipating approximately 80 participants from around the United States.

TO APPLY FOR THE AIDE POSITION YOU NEED TO BE AT LEAST AN INCOMING JUNIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL, or 16 years old.  We prefer that there be an age gap between participants and staff at Udaleku.

There are multiple aide positions available this year.  The job will require you to:

     -  help instructors teach lesson material to the camp participants
     -  help maintain order and organization during camp hours
     -  take the initiative and get things done:  don't wait for someone to give you a job
     -  treat the participants like campers, not friends.  An aide is part of the camp administration, not a participant
     -  have CPR and first aid certification.  (This class can be completed online)
     -  have your own health insurance

You will be responsible for travel to Salt Lake City.  You will receive a small stipend (not more than $500, but it could be less) and letter of recommendation (based on the quality of your work) for your time at Udaleku.

Priority will be given to those from the United States who have experience teaching children in their local Basque communities.

We ask that Udaleku Aides have a current First Aid certificate.  A current CPR certificate is encouraged, but not necessary.
