About the Naya Bharat e-series and its uniqueness:
The Naya Bharat (NB) e-series is being hosted by IIT Delhi through its SEG on school education as a part of UBA. The series is an annual thought, inspiration, and action extravaganza, with one session every month. However, to ensure that it neither becomes "lofty without actionable steps" nor "unthought series of steps", each session will focus on a specific aspect of education delivery, particularly in the light of NEP 2020, in two parts: first part focusing on the principles of that aspect, the second on its implementation. We will reach out to thinkers and organizations all over the country who have excelled in the respective aspects. The audience will include UBA institutions, school teachers, and educationists at all levels, young Indians wanting to make a change, and policymakers interested in drawing lessons from the hidden gems of our country.

UBA is a flagship national program of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, envisioning the transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India. For implementing UBA activities, IIT Delhi has been designated as the National Coordinating Institute (NCI) by the Ministry of Education. To guide UBA on various aspects, area-specific Subject Expert Groups (SEG) have been formed to serve as a think tank, and the Participation in School Education (PS) SEG is hosted at IIT Delhi under the supervision of Prof. Nomesh Bolia.

The PS SEG aims to mobilize the creative abilities of technology providers, including academic and research institutions, voluntary organizations, NGOs, CSR-conscious corporate, facilitator organizations, and entrepreneurs to provide scientific and sustainable solutions to several complex problems facing the country in the field of education, through learning-motivating platforms such as the Naya Bharat e-series, workshops, development of learning kits, development of a framework of volunteering opportunities for the youth and more.
