The Mountains meet the Sea:  through poetry, prose, and images

A monthly online writing group led by Louise Wrobleski and Margo Mallar

Fall-winter-spring 2021-22

In each session through selected poems, prose, and images, we will examine closely the four classic elements – earth, air, water, and fire; and the individual sense organs – seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, and touching. By focusing on a singular aspect of our physical experience, we can grow our personal vocabulary of place and cultivate a deep and enduring relationship to the places where we find ourselves. Each session will allow for readings about the mountains and the sea with time to write in response. All writers and lovers of words and ideas are welcome to participate. Sharing your writing is always optional.

Louise Wrobleski lives in Tamworth, NH. She facilitated the online writing sessions “morning pages” for the Cook Memorial Library last year.  Tamworth summer resident Margo Mallar currently lives on Peaks Island, ME and will co-facilitate this conversation.

Meets on Zoom, 10:30-11:45 AM on the following Wednesdays:

October 13
November 10
December 8
January 12
