Climate Coaching Alliance UK South Community- Event Joining Form
 Based on the discussion we had early on in this group, we meet twice a month, often with a speaker to give us some input for 30 - 60 minutes, which we then work with the input as a group.

1.  Second Tuesday of the month 9 - 11 am: Generally we use this session to Explore and Discuss tools, models and methodology that have been useful, to include some input, often in advance to read and allow the discussion to flow from our responses to the reading.
2.  Last Tuesday of the month 9 -11am: Generally we use this session more for Co-coaching, around our thinking and challenges in our coaching work, including cases arising.

The process of this helps us to manage time and give people what they want from our Climate Coaching space: You get a different sort of developmental stretch each fortnight and in each role. This group is starting to self-manage pretty well and we hope you feel energised to try it and see what it brings and think about what you could offer as a subject for group discussion. We welcome all coaches, from every walk of life and from the broad spectrum of coaching. Constructive feedback gratefully received!

Attend when you can, and don’t worry when it is not convenient. On the whole, we will not be recording, so it is a safe, developmental space to voice fledgling thoughts or try out new tools among fellow coaches. We will be in touch to confirm and send invites. How we work
When we Explore and Discuss tools, models and methodology that have been useful, to include some input.
15-45 minute check in (to start with, getting to know each other, and later to include pre-prepared brief “success collection”, to share where this group has made a difference) depending on size of group.
30 minute input: one person in presenter role on a particular tool, model or methodology,
30-45 minute Q&A, exploration and discussion, perhaps splitting into smaller groups, sometimes in the round,
15 minute appreciative wrap up and close.

15 min brief developmental wrap up, about what you learned in the trios, mindful of confidentiality.

In the trios there are 3 roles: Coach, Thinker and Observer and each person in the trio takes a turn in each role.
•        The Coach briefs the Observer what they would like observational feedback about, then coaches the Thinker toward the outcome they name.
•        The Thinker brings their issue (a case where they are raising climate consciousness or would like to, thinking about how to contract for this work, what stops them challenging around sustainability, gaining permission.. etc) and expects to be coached toward the outcome they name.
•        This takes 20 minutes, the remaining time being for the Observer..
•        The Observer is time keeper, listens carefully and gives specific observational feedback as briefed to the Coach (what they did or said, and how that impacted.) They can then add two questions or observations to the Thinker to take away for reflection.
•        The Thinker and Coach just say thank you, or clarify, but this is not a discussion.. just information to ponder.
•        The trio rotates roles. Etc. Each rotation takes just under 30 minutes.

However, this is held lightly in the sessions, and we can flex if something else would be more useful.
