As a volunteer with the SPCA of Tennessee, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. You will adhere to the policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the SPCA of Tennessee while volunteering for the organization. This includes but is not limited to animal care protocols, safety measures, and confidentiality requirements.

2. You will treat all animals with kindness, respect, and compassion. You will follow the SPCA of Tennessee's guidelines for the care, handling, and socialization of animals, and you will not engage in any activities that may cause harm or distress to the animals.

3. You will maintain a safe and clean environment for the animals under your care. This includes proper cleaning, sanitizing, and providing appropriate shelter, food, and water as directed by the SPCA of Tennessee.

4. You will promptly report any concerns, incidents, or issues related to animal health, safety, or welfare to the appropriate SPCA of Tennessee staff or supervisor.

5. You understand that volunteering for the SPCA of Tennessee may involve interaction with animals and potential risks associated with such interactions. In consideration of your volunteer position, you release the SPCA of Tennessee from any responsibility or liability due to injury while working as an SPCA of Tennessee volunteer.

6. You will respect the confidentiality of all information and records related to the SPCA of Tennessee, its operations, and its animals. You will not disclose or share any confidential information with unauthorized individuals or organizations.

7. You agree to represent the SPCA of Tennessee in a positive and professional manner. This includes maintaining a courteous and respectful demeanor when interacting with staff, other volunteers, and the public.

8. You will attend any required training sessions, orientations, or meetings as specified by the SPCA of Tennessee. You will also actively participate in ongoing training and education relevant to your volunteer role.

9. You understand that your volunteer position is at-will and can be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause or notice.

10. You acknowledge that the SPCA of Tennessee reserves the right to conduct background checks, reference checks, and screenings as part of the volunteer application process and at any time during your volunteer service.

11. You understand that as a volunteer, you are not an employee of the SPCA of Tennessee and are not entitled to compensation or benefits typically provided to employees.

This agreement is legally binding and enforceable under civil law. By submitting this form, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand the terms and conditions outlined above. You commit to fulfilling your responsibilities as an SPCA of Tennessee volunteer and agree to abide by the organization's policies and procedures.
