New Candidate Data Collection
Thanks for bearing with us as we collect all the information we need up front. Some of this must be entered again on the State of California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (OES) paper forms, but that is a OES requirement and can not be avoided. We will ask that you complete those paper forms after you are accepted into the program.

Reminder: All candidates are subject to a background check that includes DOJ/FBI and California DMV databases without exception. If you *ever* have had a felony conviction you will not be approved so please stop here and do not apply.

Cal-ESAR does not care what gender you identity with as a selection criteria, but the DOJ/FBI background check must have the gender that is listed on your birth certificate so we ask for it here.

Most of this info is private and restricted. Address, phone and occupation is shared with unit members.  We ask employer and occupation so unit members know the resources, connections and talents within the unit. Thanks for the help!
