1. Submit this formal request to captain an Avalon team. In the request you acknowledge the rules and your responsibilities when forming teams out of Avalon.

2. Members first – The USTA teams must first be composed of association members. If there is remaining space on a team, a captain may invite non-members to join the team. The non-member fees will be $20 for the first team, $40 for second, $80 for third, and $160 for the following teams.

3. The 50% rule – Avalon members should constitute at least half of an USTA team formed at Avalon.

4. The Captain pays for non-members. It is the captain’s responsibility to check on how many Avalon teams the recruited nonmember player was/is playing, to inform him/her about the fees and to collect the money from him/her. The captain needs to submit the payment at the beginning of the league play to Avalon Tennis Director (in full, one payment for all the nonmembers on the roster) via Venmo @Avalon-Tennis or by check to ARA.
