Spring Semester 2020-BFF Interest
Be a BFF for a new international student!

The Beloit Friendship Family (BFF) Program is a non-residential  program (students do not live with families) that matches international students with individuals and families in the Beloit area. This allows international students to experience community aspects of life in the U.S. and enables the friendship families to learn from students about their home country and culture.

Participating friendship families commit to maintaining regular communication with their students and to getting together with their students at least a few times each semester.  If you are matched with an exchange student (students here for one or two semesters) you are asked to commit to being the student's friendship family for the duration of the exchange program. If you are matched with degree seeking students you are asked to commit to being the student's friendship family for the first academic year (2 semesters).  Students and families will decide if and how they want to continue their relationship beyond that first year.

Matching takes place at the beginning of each semester: Fall (August) and Spring (January).  Currently, we are matching students for Spring Semester 2020 (January 2020)
