A partnership between Lanark Community Development Trust, Discover Lanark (Business Improvement District company), New Lanark Trust and the Scottish Wildlife Trust (Falls of Clyde Reserve) has agreed to prepare a strategy for the future development of the historic burgh of Lanark along with the special places of New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde.

Our consultants, CMC Associates, have prepared a discussion report which highlights the area’s heritage assets but also the potential to turn these to far greater advantage for the community, its identity and its economy.  You can download a PDF copy of the report “A Vision for Lanark” from this webpage:
