PSUSD#8 Parent/Guardian/Staff survey - adjusting start time of school

We are exploring the opportunity to adjust the start of school by one (1) hour for 3rd Quarter (thru March 7th). This change is being considered in order to accomodate the severe weather that impacts the safety of our students, families and staff commuting to school buildings. Ultimately, our attendance is impacted when the weather is harsh, roads and walkways are frozen until the sun has risen.

Please take a minute to answer the below question, your input and timely feedback is and appreciated.

TO CLARIFY, THE RELEASE TIME / END OF SCHOOL WILL NOT CHANGE. Students will be let out of school at the current release/ end of day times of Peach Springs Elementary @3pm and Music Mountain @2:30pm.

Yes, I DO SUPPORT adjusting the start time by ONE HOUR (8:30AM for Elementary KG-6th, 8:50AM for Music Mountain HIgh School 7th-12th)

No, I DO NOT SUPPORT adjusting the start time by ONE HOUR for all students, please continue schedule as is.
