In 2022, what began as a baptismal study group experienced remarkable growth, nearly doubling in size by 2023. This expansion was driven by individuals eager to embark on or rekindle their spiritual journey with Jesus, engaging in bible study small groups and fellowship.

Thanks to the overwhelming attendance and progress observed in our Wednesday after-school bible studies, we are excited to announce the establishment of Wallsend Church's Bible Study Hub called 'Ignite'. This hub is designed not only for high schoolers but also caters to our primary-aged kids which will be led Pr Rebecca Cheers.

This dedicated space serves as a vibrant center for bible studies, fellowship, food, and discussions on biblical questions. Commencing at 3 pm, the formal study period concludes at 3:30 pm. Subsequently, the kids have the opportunity to linger, chat, and enjoy each other's company until pickup time, typically around 3:30 pm to 4 pm. 

Our team of teachers, including myself (Pr Adam Schulz), Pr David Riley, Pr Rebecca Cheers, Kiera Hitchick (our new theology student), Lucas Gibson, and Stacie Whittaker. We are very excited to be guiding and nurturing this growing community on their spiritual journey in Jesus.
