Call for Proposals Deadline Extended - November 4
The deadline to submit a workshops/breakout session proposal for the Sixth Annual Race, Poverty, and Social Justice Conference(RPSJ) has been extended to Monday, November 4.  This is your opportunity to join educators, policymakers, advocates, and others to advance racial justice in Central Virginia.

The conference will take place on Friday, January 24th and Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, VA. The 2020 conference theme is Uprising: Organizing Justice in America.

Many Voices – One Community (MVOC) seeks to provide educational opportunities for those wanting to become better advocates for racial equity. Through workshops and keynote speakers, attendees learn about different approaches to forward racial and social justice and gain a deeper understanding of how to create more equitable communities, institutions, and organizations.  Attendees will gain knowledge and skills by drawing on the expertise of those engaged in this work at a variety of levels and from a variety of perspectives.

Dynamic presenters and innovative sessions are important to the success of the conference. This Call for Proposals(CFP) will help us ensure that we offer workshops/breakout sessions that explore different ways to address racial and social justice.
