We would like to invite the young scouters that have visited South Korea for the World Jamboree from over the world, to see the movie at the theater.

The documentary film features the last tidal flat left in the Saemangeum area, along with the beautiful migratory birds living in the flat, dedicated citizens and youth protagonists about your age gladly standing up to protect endangered birds. We think it will be a perfect movie for you to watch.
We cannot help but think it would be wonderful for young people like yourselves who’ve come from all around the world to watch this film and think about Korea’s tidal flat, migratory birds, and the nature.
Moreover, migratory birds are not just birds that need to be protected in Korea; they must be protected together by many countries globally, and tidal flats, as a blue carbon reservoir, play a very important role in the survival of humankind from climate crisis. Korea's tidal flats were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021, for being "one of the most important and meaningful habitats in the world in preserving global biodiversity."
Once again, we would like to show to the young Jamboree scouters who are taking a lead in responding to the climate crisis and protecting our ecosystem.
The very movie was invited to the Busan International Film Festival last year, so an English subtitle is also provided.
The venue where the movie will be played is Indie Space, located near Hongik University.
If you and/or your friends would like to see , please let us know the number of persons willing to attend the screening. The seats will be filled on a first come, first serve basis and the first 150 persons will get an invitation message and email.
If you show your invitation message or email and a proof of Jamboree participation, you will be able to watch the movie for free.

여러분이 머물렀던 새만금에는 '수라'라는 갯벌이 있습니다.
그곳의 아름다움을 여러분이 볼 수 있었다면 참 좋았을텐데 그러지 못해 너무 아쉽습니다.
다큐멘터리 영화 <수라>에는 새만금 일대에 남아있는 마지막 갯벌인 수라갯벌과 그곳으로 날아오는 철새들, 또 갯벌의 여러 생물들이 나옵니다. 또, 그곳의 멸종위기종 생물들을 지키려는 멋진 시민들, 그리고 여러분 또래의 청소년과 청년 주인공이 나옵니다. 이번 잼버리 대회에 참가한 청소년들이 보기에 너무나 딱 맞는 영화라 생각합니다.
세계의 청소년들이 극장에서 영화를 보며
갯벌과 철새들, 자연을 사랑하는 마음을 더욱 키우면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다.
철새는 한국만의 새가 아니라 여러 나라가 동시에 협력해서 지켜야만 보호될 수 있는 새입니다. 또 갯벌은 뛰어난 블루카본 저장소(탄소 흡수원)로, 기후위기 시대를 살아가는 지금 우리의 생존에도 너무나 중요한 역할을 합니다. 특히 ‘한국의 갯벌’은 지난 2021년, “지구 생물 다양성의 보존을 위해 세계적으로 가장 중요하고 의미있는 서식지 중 하나”라는 평가를 받으며 유네스코 세계유산으로 지정되었습니다.
기후위기 대응과 생태계 보호에 앞장서는 잼버리 청소년들에게 <수라>를 꼭 보여드리고 싶습니다.
영화는 작년 부산국제영화제 초청작이라 영문자막이 있습니다.
