Candidate Nicki Scott: It's been a privilege to serve as the co-VP of staff appreciation in the past and I would love to be able to spoil the teachers and staff again. Hanna Woods has the most amazing teachers and staff. I know from firsthand experience as I have three kids at Hanna currently.

Candidate Patricia Hessenflow: Hello Hanna Woods Tigers! My name is Patricia Hessenflow. This will be our third year at Hanna Woods Elementary. My husband and I have two daughters. One is in first grade and the other is a second grader. I am running for the VP of Faculty/Staff/Family Appreciation position because I believe that it is very important to show our exceptional teachers and staff how much we care. It is important they feel appreciated and supported throughout the school year. I have listened in on many PTO meetings this year and volunteered when the opportunity presented itself. I like to plan parties, special treat days and surprises! I also really enjoy being involved and volunteering. This would be my first official role on a PTO Executive Board, but I have had many years appreciating teachers during my 15 years of leadership in early childhood education. I currently work at the Bayer Child Development Center as the Business Manager. I am also the Assistant Girl Scout Troop Leader for the first grade girls at Hanna Woods. I love being part of Hanna Woods. I feel fortunate that my kids attend an amazing school. I would be honored to serve the Hanna Woods family!
