Specialty Crops Farmer Needs Assessment - Humboldt & Del Norte Counties

Specialty crops are defined as "fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, and horticulture & nursery crops, including floriculture."  For this survey, quinoa, dry beans, & cereal grains are also included, but cannabis is not.

In my position with University of California Cooperative Extension, I am here to be a resource to farmers for troubleshooting & experimentation, sharing ideas & innovations, connecting farmers with resource conservation initiatives, and exploring market opportunities. The purpose of this survey is to hear from farmers throughout the region about their specific practices, challenges, & business needs, and to find out where interests overlap. I am not a regulator, and any information I share from your responses will be anonymous.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey,
