Students Exploring And Researching Careers in Health:

SEARCH Academy is a program offered by the Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center (AHEC). Its goal is to help students identify and pursue career paths in healthcare.  In doing so, AHEC aims to increase, improve, and diversify the healthcare workforce in Pennsylvania.

As part of our Pennsylvania AHEC Scholars Program, we are offering an interprofessional opportunity for our Scholars to participate in the SEARCH Academy program to interact with other health professional students and engage with High School students interested in exploring a career in health. Scholars' role will be determined by the event and more details will be provided upon registration.

The SEARCH Academy will be held virtually once a month from October 2021 – April 2022 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
(There is no session for December 2021).

Participation in this event provides all our Scholars an opportunity for interprofessional education, leadership, mentorship and volunteer experience.

Participation is part of Didactic Learning and will count as 4 hours.
