Rutgers Scarlet Service in Washington, DC (RSS-DC) is a summer program for Rutgers University undergraduate students of all majors from all three campuses and provides selected students with housing, a stipend and a 3-credit course, tuition-free, while students work 150-hours at a public-service oriented non-profit or government office internship.

Please note the RSS-DC cohort for Summer 2024 will be finalized by the end of January 2024. The Summer Program will extend through Saturday, June 1 - Sunday, August 4. We expect student internship placements to be finalized by early-mid May, if not sooner.
