While I strive to restore all nibs, some may be beyond repair due to extensive damage. Nibs that can not be re-tipped will be returned at the owner's expense. To expedite service, minimize costs, and prevent potential shipping mishaps, I kindly request that you remove the nib from its pen and send the nib alone. If your pen's nib requires complex removal, or I cannot safely detach it from a pen, the entire pen will be returned at your expense. The return shipping cost will be invoiced via PayPal and must be settled before return. Securely packaging the nib for shipment is your responsibility, and I cannot be held liable for items damaged or lost in transit.
Shipping both to and from my location, as well as any insurance cost, is the customer's responsibility. To add peace of mind, especially for valuable nibs, consider using a signature confirmation service upon dispatch. Please note that re-tipping removes any existing plating.
Your nib will be returned with a satin or polished finish of the base metal of your nib.
