This showcase is meant to give the spotlight to Poetic Underground KC community members (though we do ADORE our traveling poets!) Do you regularly attend PUKC events? *
The showcase will be held on May 21st. The doors will open at 7:30pm, the show will begin at 8:00pm, and will end at 10pm. Can you commit to performing at this time? 
If you have any time constraints, (i.e. you need to go earlier in the night) please indicate this here.

If selected, you will get a 15 minute set on stage. For most poets, this means performing around 4-5 poems. 
Do you have enough material to fill this time?

We want ALL of your springiest poems at this showcase! We want pieces about GROWTH, REBIRTH, RAINY days, and anything spring-related!

Please give a brief summary of what you're thinking you would perform. A general theme/topic of each piece is sufficient. 

You CAN change your set list if you are selected, this is just to get a general feel for your work.

This event will have a $5-20 sliding scale cover and all proceeds from this event will go to Poetic Underground KC. It will be used to maintain our website, create marketing materials, and host community events. 

You are welcome to sell any merchandise you have at the event, and encouraged to plug your social media, newsletters, upcoming events, etc. We will also be advertising the event on social media.
