Caring Committee Volunteers

Our Caring Committee provides occasional rides to medical appointments, meals during severe illness or recovery, visitors to those who have difficulty attending services, hospital/procedure accompaniment, and hosts memorial receptions.

I can help with the following:

Prepare occasional food for situations of short-term health recovery, bereavement, or new parenthood

Provide occasional transportation (daytime hours) for those who are unable to drive but need to get to appointments

Help purchase, prepare, and/or serve food for memorial service receptions

Set-up or clean-up after memorial service receptions

Be at the hospital with someone during surgery or recovery or stay overnight with someone post-surgery

Visit regularly with an elder in their home or care facility
