TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUMMARY
By requesting a seat for my child on the Waikino School Van service, I agree to:
* Make full payment of the van fees by the second week of term or set up an automatic payment plan to cover my van fees throughout the term.
* Communicate with the van driver via text to the van phone regarding any changes to your arranged service and/or absentees.

* I confirm that Waikino School, the Board of Trustees, and the employees of Waikino School, will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by my minor child(ren), or any personal property belonging to me, as result of using this service.
And I understand that:
* Non payment of van fees will result in my child/children being unable to use the van service until payment is made.
* If my child is not ready at the designated time, the service may depart without them onboard
* Although we endeavour to stick to our agreed drop off and pick up times we cannot always control external factors such as traffic jams, weather etc
* The Waikino School van driver holds a P class drivers licence and is police vet checked.
* For the safety of other passengers, any child using the van service will be expected to maintain a reasonable standard of behaviour, and follow instructions issued by our driver. If behaviour is not deemed appropriate, the service may be suspended until a resolution can be reached. ( Inappropriate behaviour includes: swearing, hitting, verbal bullying of other students/ van driver, removing seatbelt while van is moving, chewing gum, tagging- all of these behaviours will result in restricted playtime at school and loss of use of the van until a parent and child have met with the principal)
* We endeavour to provide a regular and reliable service for our families. However, in some circumstances, we may need to cancel the van service. These circumstances may include but are not limited to mechanical issues, staff illness, or vehicle being used for school excursion. We apologise if this inconveniences you. If our service is cancelled multiple times in one term due to our needs, we may at our discretion, offer a discount of the following terms fee.
* Covid Alert levels may mean changes to some protocols. We will communicate covid guidelines with our van customers as and when the changes arise.
