One Day Seyoum Membership Form
In September 2001, the Eritrean free press was shut down and the country's most vocal and critical individuals were imprisoned without a trial. This was a part of a wider plan to silence the Eritrean people and remove their power. We are fighting for the unjustly imprisoned people's release whilst continuing their mission to give the people a voice.
One Day Seyoum (ODS) was started in the name of Seyoum Tsehaye, one of the unjustly imprisoned journalists, by his niece in the diaspora. We are a youth-led organisation mobilising and campaigning to end human rights abuses committed against the Eritrean people and supporting Eritrean refugees. We work online with members all over the world.
Only collective action can create meaningful change for the Eritrean people, and that is why we need to organise and why we need to be many. As an ODS member, you will be able to:
- learn more about human rights issues affecting Eritreans
- get to know like-minded people passionate about human rights and Eritrea
- stay informed about our initiatives and support in any way you want
- work directly with our teams when you have time
- get trainings on skills beneficial to the movement
What and how much you do is 100% up to you.
Once you sign up, you will receive a welcome package and information about our next members meeting.
