Your child will be put into peer groups by age. If you'd like your child to be in the same group as another camp attendee, please state the campers name.
DH reserves the right to mix age groups when needed to accommodate this request which means your child may be placed with older or younger campers. With submission of this form with request for camp attendee's to be placed together, you agree to this arrangement.

Please ask for our medical information sheet upon arrival to camp. For the safety of all our campers and staff, we have First Aid Certified personnel at all our camps.

An Alberta Health Care number is required to be on file for everyone who rides at DH, please provide the AHC # for your child.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, DH will act in the best interest of the camper (rider, participant, child) and will seek emergency care by calling 911.

TO ENSURE A PLACE AT CAMP, both the registration form and a non-refundable deposit of $150 must be submitted. 
Deposits and full payment can be sent via e-transfer to discoveringthehorse@shaw.ca or paid by Visa / MC (3% surcharge applies to all credit cards). If you would like to pay with credit card, please contact DH at 403 542 4038.
Confirmation of enrollment will only be sent out once BOTH the form and deposit have been received - no exceptions.

Requirements & Tips
  • Helmets must be worn by all riders. Riding helmets are preferred, however ski/snowboard helmets, hockey helmets and bike helmets are accepted. Helmet rental is available but please note sizes are limited.
  • All personal items of the campers should be clearly labeled with their first and last initial.
  • Campers should bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and bug spray.
  • Campers should dress for all types of weather.
  • Any medications shall be clearly labelled and DH need to have a medical form provided to keep on file for the duration of the camp.
  • Footwear needs to be sturdy and protective, absolutely NO sandals, flip-flops or canvas tennis shoes.
  • Hand wipes are always helpful.
  • Bring a snacks and lunch. We have a small fridge and microwave if needed.
  • Arrive on time to camp, as we will be starting promptly at 9:00am SHARP each day.
