LES PTA Volunteer Interest Form 2021-2022
Involvement in your child’s academic life through the PTA is priceless. We are always looking for volunteers, and would love your help in a variety of activities at school, after hours, and even in your home. We appreciate any time you can give – whether it’s a few hours a week, or just an hour a month.

This form contains a list of the committees and activities requiring help for the upcoming year, along with an overview of the volunteer activity. Please check any areas that you have an interest in, and a PTA chair will contact you about your particular interests and volunteer opportunities within that category.

Completing this form does not require you volunteer.  The PTA is collecting this information so that we can contact volunteers directly regarding specific programs/events throughout the school year.

Committee Descriptions:
1. The Programs Committee includes but is not limited to helping coordinate cultural arts events, welcoming new LES families to LES through various events, assist with Spirit Week, Book Fairs, Field Day, and other misc. events.

2. The Student Support Committee includes but is not limited to helping organize our Cubs Closet, which provides gently used clothing for staff to share with LES children in need. They also assist with our Pack Pride Program, which provides food for children in food-insecure homes.

3. Family Fun events include but are not limited to organizing Out to Eat Nights (Spirit Nights), Family Fun Nights (i.e. skate or rock climbing nights, etc.), and Family Picnics.

4. The Hospitality Committees assists in organizing Staff Treats, Early Release Staff Lunches, and Staff Appreciation Week.

5. The Fundraising Committee assists in organizing events such as our Fall Fundraiser, Box Tops for Education, LES Spirit Wear Sales, and our Spring Carnival/Silent Auction.

6. The Health & Wellness Committee assists in events such as our Walk/Bike to School event (October)  & Our Blood Drive (TBD).
