I commit to joining my neighbors by avoiding invasive species and planting only natives in my yard to:

Reduce the spread of the invasive plants that are harming our public parks and natural areas.*
Provide native plants required for a healthy local ecosystem of insects, birds and other wildlife.**

* Use the New Jersey Invasive Species Strike Team (NJISST) Do-Not-Plant List to avoid selecting invasive plants

** Use the Great Swamp Watershed Association (GSWA) Native Plants web site or other resources to select native plants
