Housing Statement
In the event that your volunteer position requires housing, you will likely be placed in a cabin with bedding and towels provided. Please bring your own toiletries. You will be asked to reset your room before you leave.

If you are volunteering in a cabin with campers, you will need to provide your own bedding and towels.

Our commitment, humility and verbal witness of camp volunteers contributes greatly to a camper's openness and responsiveness to the work of the Holy Spirit through the Gospel.

Therefore, it is essential that all PLC volunteers be willing to:

• Share their life in Christ by example and by word with campers and staff throughout their time spent at camp.

• Enter into their volunteer responsibilities and relationships with a positive and supportive attitude. We are a generation of honor!

• Sacrifice personal desires in the interest of the campers and their peers.

• Commit to a life of sexual purity (refraining from the use of pornography and sex outside of marriage) during the time of serving at PLC.

• PLC prohibits the use of tobacco products including vaping as well as alcoholic beverages on the camp property during the summer camp season. The use of drugs shall be limited to those prescribed by a physician.

• The abuse of any substance or habit, while not necessarily against camp policy, may be cause for dismissal.
I recognize the fact that volunteer positions at Pine Lake Camps are unpaid, and I will receive no pay for my service to Pine Lake Camps. *

In the event that I am offered a volunteer position at Pine Lake Camps, I commit to fulfilling my designated role to the very best of my abilities during the time that I am expected to serve. I understand that my purpose for being on site is to serve.

If I am volunteering during a camp session in which my child/children are campers, I agree to allow them the full camper experience by not interrupting/interfering with their camp schedule, meals, cabin time, activities, etc. *

I recognize the fact that Pine Lake Camps reserves the right to revoke my volunteering abilities in the event that I fail to meet expectations or abide by Pine Lake Camps volunteer policies. *

In the event that the position I am applying for requires a background check, I hereby authorize Pine Lake Camps to run a background check to obtain information pertaining to any charges and/or convictions I may have had for federal and state criminal law violations, by name. This information will include but not be limited to allegations and convictions for crimes committed upon minors and will be gathered from any law enforcement agency of this state or any state or federal government, to the extent permitted by state and federal law.

Applicant's Agreement with Pine Lake Camps
If I am accepted for a volunteer position, I will abide by the policies above as well as the principles of ethics, conduct, dress code, and will accept my proper responsibility as a member of the camp community. I realize and agree that any photos or recordings taken of me during the summer may be used in camp promotional material.

In signing this application, I am affirming that all information within this application is true. In the event of my acceptance, I understand that I shall be subject to dismissal if I have given false or incomplete information within this application.
