Please READ ALL of this information before filling out this form. This is an application for those interested in being a small group leader at the Christian Youth Summit this April 8-9, 2022 in Bend, Oregon. This is an awesome leadership opportunity and makes the Youth Summit a much more meaningful experience for those who attend.

To be a small group leader, you need to be at least 15-years-old. To be an assistant small group leader, you may be 14-years-old.  To be either a small group leader or assistant small group leader, you will need to attend at least one training (1.5 hours) leading up to the Summit. (We'll email times and dates for those meetings soon). You will also need to agree to Prepare the Way's statement of faith (https://www.preparetheway.us/about-us/what-we-believe-2/) AND have a referral from a pastor. Responsibilities at the Summit will include the following: arriving by 4:45pm Friday, April 8 (1049 NE 11th St, Bend, OR 97701) welcoming attendees, and guiding the peer discussions after each general session speaker (discussion questions will be provided). Small group leaders don't need to know all the answers; their main job is to encourage meaningful and respectful discussion in the small groups.

We are also doing another free coffee card incentive. Every small group leader will get a free drink card. In addition, for every small group leader that you recruit who serves at the Summit, you will get an additional free coffee card!

Note: We encourage youth pastors and youth ministry leaders to be small group leaders if they attend with their youth groups. Alternately, if a youth group attends, we can also provide leaders.
