Zendesk EAP - Side Conversations Rich Text
This early access program (EAP) introduces a rich text editor to the side conversations composer. This will allow agents to do things like make text bold and italic, as well as add structure like block quotes and lists to their messages.

Is this available to everyone?
This EAP is available to customers with the Collaboration add-on. You'll need to enable at least one communication channel to test it out. Email will have different capabilities than Slack, so testers using both channels would be best.
This being an Early Access Program, are there limitations with the product?
The current implementation may have some idiosyncrasies with things like spacing or entering/exiting spans of formatting. Also, pasting of rich text from other sources into the editor will likely lose much of the formatting. We'd love your help in finding edge cases so we can get them worked out during the beta period.
What is expected of me?
There are a few things we ask:

1. Provide feedback on things like formatting, ease of use, and keyboard shortcuts
2. Report any bugs and edge cases
3. Be open to working very closely with us, initially and ongoing through this stage
4. Willingness to get it wrong, in order to make it better
