Energy Savings Relief Grant for Congregations
Hoosier Interfaith Power & Light is working to distribute funds to communities impacted by COVID to help them reduce their energy costs and save money in their congregational buildings.

Qualifications:

1. Congregations must use the money for energy efficiency enhancements on their congregational buildings.

2. Congregations with 1000 members or less and those that are economically stressed will be prioritized

3. 15% or more matching grants will be given priority

4. Grant requests can be made of up to $1000 dollars.

Included in this program is a requirement that you track your energy consumption using a tool called Energy Stewards.  Benchmarking is an important step to reducing your congregations energy consumption. If so, we will add $200 to your grant request to cover the subscription for the first year of this program. *
