LatinX in Animation (LXiA) is a Signature Program of the Latino Film Institute (LFI), which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to showcase, strengthen, and celebrate the richness of Latino lives through the audio-visual event. LFI develops, activates, and supports artists, creators, and executives through pathways and platforms for the expression and appreciation of their work.

LXiA's mission is to empower and promote the growth of Latinx diversity and minorities in all facets of the Animation, VFX, and Gaming industries by celebrating authentic stories that are about Us, Told By, US, and Made By Us. To accomplish this, LXiA organizes year-round events and activities for our members that focus on networking, community, education, professional development, screenings, Q&A's and workshops.

LXiA Volunteers helps with events, workshops, and more. As a volunteer, LXiA will send an email blast out to everyone on the list, and volunteer sign-up is first-come, first-serve for each event. As LXiA members volunteer for more events, they earn credit towards rewards such as free T-Shirts, priority RSVP registration for LXiA events, and free tickets to related LXiA events, and more.
