First aid is an important tool in quickly responding to accidents to ensure that injuries can be efficiently and promptly dealt with before a trained medical professional arrives to administer more specialized treatment. It enables you to assist persons who become injured in the event of an accident or emergency situation until help arrives.

CESS-Nepal is conducting a First Aid Training program at Pulchowk Campus on 25th December 2021 (Saturday). The program will be facilitated by the interns from the Institute of Medicine (IOM). The program will cover the following topics:
1) Transportation of injured individuals
2) Shock, Hemorrhage, Bleeding, Seizures
3) Fractures and Bandages
4) Poison, Snakebite, Electric Shock
5) Checking vitals
6) CPR training

Participants will also be awarded an First Aid E-Certification.
