Descriptions of WHA Committees
1. Advocacy & Communications: This committee is vital in supporting the WHA’s local, state, and federal advocacy actions as well as amplifying communication alerts.
2. Development: This committee ensures the involvement of service providers in informing, advising, and assisting the WHA Board in pursuing its mission to end homelessness in Washtenaw County.
3. Finance: This committee is responsible for reviewing and informing the WHA Board about the financial health and fiscal operations of the organization.
4. Operations: This committee ensures the involvement of service providers in informing, advising, and assisting the WHA Board in pursuing its mission to end homelessness in Washtenaw County.
5. Housing Coordinators: This network supports filling housing unit vacancies, program education & guidance, case management, and rapid response to landlord concerns or questions.
