At Shifting Orbits Foundation, we believe in nurturing future leaders. That's why we're launching our Interact and Rotaract clubs. These clubs are more than just extracurricular activities; they're a pathway to acquiring invaluable leadership skills.

Through these clubs, our students will not only gain international exposure but also have the opportunity to build a solid network and at the same time give back to their communities. We believe in instilling a sense of global citizenship and social responsibility in our young learners.

So What is Interact and Rotract?

Both Interact and Rotract are youth arm of a larger global service organization - Rotary International. While "Interact" is for students aged 12 to 18/19 while "Rotaract" is for those above 18. All our G10/ PU1 and PU2 will initially be part of Interact but as they move to Degree, they will transition to Rotaract. So it means by being part of the club - YOU will be a part of larger international network of Rotary! It also means many of you will get to develop leadership skills by holding important positions like President, Secretary, Treasurer and Directors and driving community projects in and around your centers.

So what will you get if you are part of this?

1. Opportunity to build and grow your leadership skills -  Afterall you will be running almost a real office like clubs and meetings and driving some reallife projects.
2. High visibility in and around the community - You will soon become "famous" in your own locality and will know  business owners, professional leaders and prominent citizens across your communities -  both because of the projects you will undertake as well as network you will develop
3. International Exposure - There will be ample opportunity to interact and particpate in events organized by similar Interact and Rotract Clubs from across the globe
4. Far Better chance of college and job admissions as well as growth in your career -  Colleges and Organizations both care a lot when they meet a candidate who has shown participation in service led clubs such as these

Is this membership free?

Practically YES! 

However just to make sure we can have snacks and occasional parties, the club can have a nominal fee of Rs 100 per year as membership!  For all other project activities, the club will raise funds from the community as and when required.

Who can join?

If you are in age group 14 to 18 and associated with Shifting orbits Foundation in any capacity OR if you live in the vicinity of SOF Learning Centers (Kadugudi, KR Puram, Immadahalli, Ramagondanahalli, Ottapalam, Kozhikode), you are eligible!
