Please join the Eli J. & Phyllis N. Segal Citizen Leadership Program and our Segal Fellows for "The Importance of Open Internet & How to Leverage Public Interest Advocacy: A Segal Program discussion with Public Knowledge."
This event is being cosponsored by the Heller Career Development Center.
Gene Kimmelman, Senior Advisor with Public Knowledge, will talk about their work to "promot[e] freedom of expression, an open internet, and access to affordable communications tools and creative works." Gene will also discuss his path to this work and his public interest career and will share information about Public Knowledge's fellowships, resources, and other opportunities.
This session will take place at The Heller School at Brandeis University in Room G53, and pizza will be provided. It will also be broadcast virtually to our Segal Fellows who are not able to attend in person.
