American University Virtual Group Visit Request Form - Fall 2020
Please review the following information before submitting a Virtual Group Visit Request:

We are pleased to accommodate groups of 15-90 high-school-aged students and chaperones for a specialized 60-minute virtual campus visit experience. We regret that we do not have the resources to accommodate groups of elementary or middle school students.

Due to COVID-19, American University is taking steps to protect our community and guests and is canceling all in-person on- and off-campus events through the end of December.

To register, please submit the Group Visit Request form. We ask that you give us at least two weeks notice in arranging your visit. We will not consider requests made less than two weeks in advance of the requested date.

Please note:

Virtual Group Visits for the fall will be offered beginning Monday, September 14 through Friday, December, 4. Virtual Group Visits for the fall will be offered:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM ET
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET

We are unable to arrange visits outside these times. Virtual group visits will be 60-minutes in length. Visits will include an admissions information session conducted by an American University admissions representative followed by Q&A.

Additionally, high school groups are accommodated on a first-come first-served basis. Only one group can be accommodated per date/time.

Please note: Group visits will not be offered on the following dates:
Thursday, November 26
Friday, November 27

All fields of the group visit request form must be completed. Incomplete forms will not be considered. Once your virtual group visit is confirmed, the visit organizer will receive a Zoom Meeting link to share with their students to use to access the virtual information session.

Student Conduct Expectations: all virtual group visits must include the supervision of an adult chaperone/teacher/sponsors at all times. We require one chaperone for every 15 students. The ultimate responsibility for each group rests with these designated adults, not American University. Students are expected to conduct themselves as respectful session attendees and not demonstrate disruptive behavior during the presentation. Should such behavior occur, the American University admissions staff and/or tour guides have the right to terminate the virtual admissions experience.

We look forward to meeting you virtually!
